A response from Victoria to the new Aged Care Act: exposure draft – consultation paper no.2

On behalf of the SSD Connect Alliance, Bayside City Council SSD and Eastern SSD Partnership, a BIG THANK YOU to the aged care leaders who shared their perspectives on the proposed new Act. 👏🏼 

We delivered our written submission to the government on 22 February 2024. 

The submission is the result of 4 roundtables held in late January.

124 aged care leaders from 75 organisations participated in the roundtables, offering comprehensive representation across metro, regional, rural and remote Victoria. 

Community health, local councils, not-for-profits, health services and Aboriginal community controlled organisations had a seat at the table.
