This website and the training calendar are brought to you by the SSD Connect Alliance.
The Alliance is 7 local government and community health SSD providers from North Metro and West Metro Melbourne + the Loddon Mallee region of Victoria.
The Alliance grew from the belief that we’re stronger together. We share resources, avoid duplication and drive consistency.
We collaborate to deliver high quality training, support and resources for Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) funded providers.
While we have a focus on North Metro, West Metro and Loddon Mallee, our resources and training are open to CHSP providers Australia-wide.
The SSD Connect Alliance is:
Banyule City Council, City of Darebin, City of Whittlesea, cohealth, Maribyrnong City Council, Merri-bek City Council, Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health.Operational support is provided by the SSD: North Metro, West Metro, Loddon Mallee team.
The SSD Connect Alliance also collaborates with other SSD providers on special projects.

SSD Connect is for managers, team leaders, coordinators and staff who work in organisations that provide Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) funded aged care services.
The SSD Connect website, newsletter and LinkedIn page connect you with training and resources that support you and your team.
SSD Connect training and resources are tailored to your needs. They are provided (where possible) at no cost to your organisation.
While SSD Connect has a focus on North Metro and West Metro Melbourne + the Loddon Mallee region of Victoria, the resources and training are open to CHSP providers Australia-wide.

Local government, Regional Advisors and organisations around Australia have been funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care to be SSD Providers.
The main objectives of the department’s Sector Support and Development Sub-Program are to:
– Support CHSP service providers through reforms to the CHSP, in preparation for a new in-home aged care system
– Operate effectively in line with the objectives of the CHSP and within the context of the broader aged care system.
