Have your say in the home care pricing approach for 2025–26
We invite you to represent your Victorian CHSP-funded organisation at a roundtable focused on the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority’s (IHACPA) consultation for 2025-26 home care pricing.
To support the development of its pricing advice to government, IHACPA is seeking feedback on the proposed approach, methodology, and principles to be used.
We appreciate the timeline is tight, but this is an important opportunity for you to have your say.
The roundtable
At the roundtable we’ll:
Present a summary of IHACPA’s consultation paper as well as information that’s been published on pricing for the new model
Unpack the questions IHACPA is asking providers
Facilitate breakout sessions where we’ll capture your views on the questions asked by IHACPA. We’ll focus on:
Concerns about unit prices
The cost of implementing the new Aged Care Act and Support at Home program
Operational costs such as travel, technology, workforce management, compliance, governance and reporting.
Submission paper
Following the roundtable, a submission will be drafted and sent to you. Your organisation can use this to inform its own submission.
We’ll send our joint submission to IHACPA by the 25 October deadline. Your organisation will be listed in this submission as a contributor. You can opt out of being named if you prefer.
